i. self deprecation is a coping mechanism of his, though arcade refrains from being too negative.
ii. don't remind him of his age. arcade feels a lot older than he actually is.
iii. his medical abilities are shadowed by those of julie farkas, though he's still more than skilled in medicine.
iv. he knows he can come off as incredibly pretentious.
v. when overwhelmed, he has a tendency to lash out. he doesn't mean to be hostile, but sometimes things are a bit too much for him. this doesn't mean he doesn't enjoy what he does any less.
vi. however, he doesn't enjoy certain projects (i.e. the barrel cacti) and will complain about them whenever possible.
vii. his sense of humor is literally atrocious. think dad jokes and the like.
viii. arcade has genuinely horrific handwriting. it's just barely readable.
xiv. arcade can be swayed, it just takes a lot to get through to him. usually, flirtation, showing any humanity at all, or being comically unintelligent are ways to get him on your side.
x. he smokes, albeit very lightly. it's because of an ex-boyfriend of his during his more "reckless youth."

i've been writing since i was a kid, roleplaying for eight years.

i try to communicate when i'm going to be inactive but sometimes i get super overwhelmed and forget to. it doesn't happen that often here though.

similarly, i have an autoimmune disease that can be super draining, so i may go inactive to deal with that but i try to be consistent. i also have memory issues. please be patient with me.

fallout is one of my hyperfixations and i've been into the series for a few years now. i'm knowledgeable on the lore (even if it doesn't seem like it sometimes, i fuck around a lot)

BASICS

general roleplay etiquette applies: no godmodding, no controlling my character, no killing my character without prior discussion, etc.

respect my boundaries! i have the right to decline any rps or ships if i don't feel comfortable.

LITERACY

third person only, but i can comply to length (although i prefer multi-para) and style. for shorter threads, i do periodically use brackets (ex. [ action. ]), but i often just mirror the other person. please give me more to work with than one line (unless it's a short, non-serious rp).

SHIPPING

i practice chemistry-based shipping, and this is a multiship account. i'm fine if the development is through ooc discussion or through writing, though! i ask that ships aren't forced onto me, and please let me know ooc if you're interested in shipping! it makes it a bit easier for me. i also request that things build naturally. arcade is gay and there will be absolutely no exceptions to this. i tend to refrain from writing nsfw (of a sexual nature) but if i do it'll be with a ship partner and in the dms. it's not expected, though.

REGARDING MINORS

if you are a minor, i prefer if you don't interact unless you're over the age of sixteen, and even then, i'm iffy about it. please have your age listed somewhere on your account or at least state that you are a minor (for adults, a simple mdni says enough), otherwise i'll block. if you're a minor, i will not under any circumstance ship with you. i am an adult and it makes me incredibly uncomfortable. do not lie about or conceal your age. i will block you.

ABOUT BUMPING

bumping rps is fine with me just don't spam me or rush me for responses. i typically do replies based off of what i have the most muse for at once. sometimes, i only have muse for a certain set of replies. respect that! i promise i'm not ignoring our threads, sometimes i just forget to respond.
